The LEDs are produced in the United States by Cree, while the LED Driver is made in Taiwan by Meanwell.

A locking system on the bracket of the explosion-proof LED light head allows it to be adjusted to illuminate your working area and fastened, which is particularly useful in locations with high vibrations. In order to prevent corrosion, the metal body has been powder-coated. Use in potentially explosive areas is not a problem because of the flame-resistant protection. Portable tripods, ceilings, walls, and brackets may all be used to attach this light.

Explosive environments:

Gas: Groups IIA (Group D), IIB (Group C), Zone 1 (Class 1, Division 1), Zone 2 (Class 1, Division 2),

Dust: Zone 21 (Group E Only). Where a flammable dust cloud is expected to arise insufficient amount during normal operation to produce an explosive concentration of combustible or ignitable dust in mixing with air.

Dust: Zone 22 (Group E Only). Where combustible dust clouds arise rarely and last just a short period, or where layers of combustible dust accumulate under anomalous circumstances and give rise to ignitable dust mixes in the air. Zone 21 is designated for areas where the removal of dust buildup cannot be guaranteed due to an anomalous situation.

The standard beam is 25° or  80°. Optional lower wattage, 18-43VAC or 18-55VDC units available on special order.

    Explosion Proof LED Light Head AE Light is by far the most reliable LED light head I have used in our workplace. I deal with highly explosive fumes and this head light helps me at night to get everything done at night. Very bright and easy to setup. And on top of that, it doesn’t consume too much power.
