Introducing the Explosion Proof Lighting Tomar 3024XLP: Tomar Electronics proudly presents the Model 3000 family of LED explosion-proof lights. Notably, these warning lights hold UL listings for Class I, Division 1, Groups C & D; Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F & G; and Class III. Available in five LED colors (Amber, Blue, Green, Red, and White).

Tomar’s explosion-proof LED lights showcase a distinctive thermal management system, utilizing internal cooling fins to dissipate heat from the LEDs. This innovative design ensures extended lamp life and consistent light output. Moreover, all electronics and LEDs are backed by a comprehensive 5-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

An internal switch allows for easy selection among steady-burning, single, or double flash modes. Furthermore, each light will operate over a wide AC and DC input voltage range. Specifically, the DC version is designed to operate from 10-36 VDC, while the AC version functions within the range of 85-265 VAC.

In addition, the compact 3000 family series are constructed to NEMA 4X standards, making them suitable for marine-rated use in saltwater environments. Notably, design features include housing made of die-cast high-strength copper-free aluminum alloy with a baked powder epoxy finish, stainless steel hardware, and an o-ring sealed prestressed glass dome. Moreover, it incorporates double-pitch acme threads for smooth assembly and ease of maintenance.

Architect and Engineer Specifications

The LED visual signaling beacon shall be Tomar model number series 3024 or 3124 or approved equal. Additionally, the beacon shall be UL Listed as Class I, Division 1, Groups C and D; Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F, and G; and Class III for use in specified hazardous locations and /or combustible atmospheres as classified by the National Electric Code.

Furthermore, operating voltage ranges shall be 10-36 VDC or 85-265 VAC. Moreover, the operating temperature range shall be from -40 C to 85 C. The beacon shall have a built-in selector switch to allow operation in Steady On, Single Flash, or Double Flash modes. Additionally, the beacon must be rated NEMA 4X, with a housing made of die-cast high-strength copper-free aluminum alloy with baked powder epoxy finish, stainless steel hardware, O-ring sealed pre-stressed globe with double pitch acme threads for smooth assembly and ease of maintenance. Moreover, the housing must be designed to accommodate a dome guard.
