Engineered with advanced Surecell™ dual-reservoir sensors and automated Reflex™ self-testing, the BW Clip delivers rapid response times and consistent reliability even in extreme temperatures and harsh weather conditions. Does the Honeywell BW Clip require routine calibration?
The standard BW Clip is completely maintenance-free and requires zero calibration during its operational lifespan. However, if your facility mandates calibration, the BW Clip Real Time model supports manual calibration.
How does the hibernation feature work?
When using the 2-year $H_2S$ or CO model with the optional Hibernation Case or IntelliDoX system, you can pause operation when the device is not needed for a week or longer, extending its service life up to 3 years total.
Can I change the battery or sensor in the field?
No, the BW Clip is designed as a sealed, maintenance-free unit to eliminate downtime and sensor replacement costs over its 2 or 3-year service life.
How does the detector alert the user in loud environments?
