Known to be the most robust device in its class, Intrinsically Safe Computer Bartec MC92-IS is ATEX Zone 1 and IECEx certified to work in potentially explosive areas such as oil and gas industries, petrochemical and pharmaceutical areas. Apart from being a barcode scanner, MC92-IS offers a wireless data exchange via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. It is backed up with UL international approval as well as other national approvals such as Brazil and Russia.

Intrinsically Safe Computer Bartec MC92-IS is designed with 28 numeric keys and 53 alphanumeric keys. The 3.7″ VGS color display with 480 x 640 pixel touchscreen ensures that you get the maximum display resolution, even under the bright sunlight. It is powered by high performance TI OMAC 4430 dual core processor and runs under both Windows and Android operating systems. Other features include integrated microphone, loudspeaker and 2.5 mm headset jack, voice over IP, Lithium-ion battery that can be changed in potentially explosive areas and built-in antenna.
