IS-RLY Intrinsically Safe Drum Alarm Relay Output Module – Approved I.S. Barrier

The IS-RLY Intrinsically Safe Relay Output Module is the certified interface accessory designed for use with Gizmo Engineering’s Intrinsically Safe Drum, Tote, and Tank Alarms. This module provides a safe, isolated relay output that can be connected to PLCs, remote annunciators, automation panels, or control systems located in non-hazardous areas. When installed with an approved I.S. alarm, it ensures safe signal transmission from Zone 0 / Class I Division 1 environments into safe-area equipment.

The IS-RLY includes a 10 ft factory-installed cable and is rated for a maximum switching current of 80 mA. This makes it suitable for light-duty signaling, logic inputs, and automation triggers requiring intrinsic safety compliance.
