Intrinsically Safe Headlamp NightStick XPP 5454G is certified for Zone 0 and Class I Division 1 use. It has a multi-position tilt head design and a heavy-duty rubber head strap for use on a hard hat. It has dual top-mounted switches that provide users select high or low brightness spotlight, high or low-brightness floodlight operation, and it is dual-light design is to turn on both the spotlight and the floodlight at the same time for maximum user safety and lighting versatility.

At first it was difficult to get this headlamp into the hard hat because the rubber grips into the hard hat so tight, but this is exactly what you need to keep it from falling out. I got used to taking it in and out my hard hat and it never been a hassle ever since. The lights are bright and the dim function is enough for appropriate application. It also has other functions that I have started to find uses for. I’m happy with my purchase. Great for Class 1 Division 1 use.
