Ion Science Tiger’s ATEX Zone 0 certified handheld VOC gas detector is intrinsically safe. In agreement with IECEx. Detection of Volatile Organic Compound gases (VOC’s) down to ppb levels is possible with the Tiger handheld VOC detector. In addition to being very resistant to moisture and contamination, it is capable of rapidly and accurately detecting volatile organic compounds (VOCs). It has a lithium-ion battery that lasts up to 24 hours of continuous use, a backlit LCD screen, a tactile keyboard, user-friendly firmware, dual-color status LEDs, and an alarm that vibrates at 95 dB. IP65.

Because it has a minimum sensitivity of 0.001 parts per billion (ppb), the Tiger handheld VOC gas detector has the greatest measurement range of any other VOC detector now on the market. The two-second response speed of this portable, handheld detector is the fastest on the market, and it is just as quick to clear. Tiger is a battery replacement system that may be used safely in dangerous conditions. Rechargeable Li-ion batteries can be used for up to 24 hours. The instrument can be fully charged in 6.5 hours, while it may be used for 8 hours with a 1.5-hour battery charge.
In addition to the low-cost Tiger LT, the Tiger Select detects all aromatic chemicals, including benzene, and is available in the Tiger line of handheld VOC gas detectors.
