Industrial Keyboard with Integrated FSR Pointing Device that is totally safe to use it is a Class I, II, and III, Division 1, Groups C through G. The keyboard is designed and produced for use in hazardous situations. It is fully TAA Compliant and strictly adheres to the Trade Agreements Act (19 U.S.C. §§ 2501–2581). Other notable features include an integrated FSR pointing device, non-corrosive stainless steel with optically isolated barriers, bulkhead cables, a 10-key numeric pad, and PS2 configurations. For usage in hazardous environments, the DT-5K-FSR-IS has been specifically built. Daisy data P070-000294-01 EX210 isolation barrier or iKey PS2-IS-BARRIER must be used in conjunction with the keyboard. In addition, there are no replaceable components in this assembly.

The Intrinsically Safe(IS) keyboards from iKey® are made to be used in potentially hazardous environments. The intrinsically safe, stainless steel DT-5K-FSR-IS keyboard has an FSR pointing device, optically separated barriers, and bulkhead cables to ensure complete safety. Class I, II, and III, Division 1, Groups C through G are approved by Factory Mutual.
It is fully TAA Compliant and strictly adheres to the Trade Agreements Act (19 U.S.C. §§ 2501–2581).
