An Intrinsically Safe Peripheral such as the PM-2000–FSR–IS (IS) is now here! Devices from iKey® are designed to minimize the risk of failure in hazardous environments. The stainless steel housing and industrial silicone rubber pad used in the construction of the intrinsically safe PM-2000-FSR-IS ensure NEMA 4X protection is particularly harsh applications. Additional functionality is provided by the FSR pointing device included within the mouse. Class I, II, and III, Division I, Groups C, D, E, and G are approved by Factory Mutual for the PM-2000-FSR-IS. To ensure total safety, the unit contains optically separated barriers and bulkhead wires. One keystroke access to software shortcuts is provided via the PM-2000's two rows of function keys, which feature a whole 114-key industrial keyboard. The panel mount PM-2000-FSR-IS is the new component number for this PM-2000-IS.
