Force sensing resistors (FSR) are built inside a stainless steel enclosure with optically separated barriers and bulkhead cables that provide total protection for the PM-5K-FSR.IS keyboard. A Factory Mutual Approval has been granted to it for use in Class 1, Class 2, and Class 3, Division 1, Groups C, D, E, F, and G, respectively.
The PM-5K-FSR-IS is designed for use in hazardous locations. The keyboard must be used in
combination with either the Daisy Data P070-000294-01 EX210 Isolation Barrier or the iKey PS2-IS-BARRIER.

Built with industrial silicone rubber, this keyboard is extremely rugged yet lightweight and easy to install. Just a reminder though: this model works in combination with iKey PS2-IS-BARRIER or Daisy Data P070-000294-01 EX210 Isolation Barrier, so make sure you have it handy.
