The Granit 1981i scanner is designed to scan a wide variety of codes, from low-quality 2 mil codes at close range to 100 mil codes hanging from warehouse rafters at a distance of 52 feet (16m). The Granit 1981i scanner is contained in the Granit housing, which has set the standard for scanner dependability for many years. It has an IP65 rating and can resist 5,000 tumbles from a height of 1 m (3.3 ft) and 50 drops to concrete from a height of 2 m (6.5 ft) – even at -20°C (-4°F).
