In addition to being compatible with future Android releases, the Janam XT3 has been certified by Google as Android Enterprise Recommended (AER) because it runs Android 9 (Pie) and includes GMS. It is possible to use XT3 to read all contactless passes, including event tickets, transport cards, and loyalty cards, as well as boarding passes and other forms of identification. In terms of rugged mobile computers, XT3 is the only one that can read both Apple and Google protocols at the same time.
For all-day, everyday usage in transportation and logistics, field service and sales, retail, hospitality, and public safety, the XT3 weighs less than 10 ounces and features a smartphone-like design. In addition to being IP67-rated and MIL-STD-810G-tested, the XT3 is built to handle drops, severe temperatures, and dust or water. Additionally, XT3 is Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, and D-compliant for use in potentially explosive environments, such as those involving the handling, processing, or usage of flammable liquids or gases.
