SOLEXY ANTENNA COUPLERS UX SERIES
Solexy antenna couplers UX series patented explosion-proof antenna coupler enables the installation of non-Ex certified antennas in hazardous areas. This coupler is designed to integrate directly with listed explosion-proof housings or conduit fittings.
An integrated blocking circuit actively prevents hazardous energy from reaching the antenna in the event of a radio, modem, or access point failure. Additionally, it facilitates antenna removal in hazardous areas.
The coupler’s robust design enables connection to virtually any radio and antenna, providing a highly flexible and cost-effective solution for hazardous area radio system deployment. Furthermore, it can serve as a cable bulkhead. Fitting is approved for hazardous locations and can be easily installed with a simple wrench.

FEATURES:
- Short Circuit Protection: Equipped with integrated blocking circuitry.
- Environmental Protection: All essential circuitry is recessed into the fitting and encapsulated to withstand harsh environments.
- No Sealing Fitting Required: Allows for the installation of a wide variety of passive antennas in hazardous areas. Antennas can be removed or installed with power on, making it ideal for cable bulkhead connections.
- Extended Frequency Range: The UX series covers a broad range of frequencies with a single version, spanning from 300 MHz to 9 GHz, with minimal loss across the spectrum.
Certification:
- The UX Series holds certifications from Atex, IECEX, and INMETRO, and is approved for use in the USA & Canada as an apparatus. It can be installed per the conditions of acceptability, without further assessment.
- North American approval (USA & Canada) includes classification & division and zones.
- IECEX certification is issued by an Australian notified body, allowing the UX to be installed in Queensland mines.
- INMETRO certification extends the barrier’s suitability for applications in Brazil.
