The Ecom CT50-Ex Intrinsically Safe portable Computer is ATEX Zone 2/22 and IECEx certified. The device is powered by a Windows 10 IoT Core, a version of Windows 10 intended for smaller devices with or without displays and compatible with both ARM and x86/x64 architectures. Additionally, the Ecom CT50-Ex has a longer battery life, allowing it to operate throughout an entire shift and beyond. Additionally, it is designed for outdoor operations with to its sharp and colorful display made of Corning Gorilla Glass sunlight—along with multiple wireless communication options like 4G/LTE and WLAN.
Due to the next-generation 2D imager, its data collecting capability is superior to the norm. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 CPU with a clock speed of 2.26 GHz quad-core allows more robust application execution at higher speeds and efficiency. Additionally, it features an integrated speaker and two noise-canceling microphones. The 8.0-megapixel color camera with autofocus and powerful software capabilities offers the greatest image quality possible. Ecom CT50-Ex is a comprehensive package of style and performance, weighing around 342 grams with a battery.
