The fixed VOC monitor Ion Science TVOC is ATEX Zone 2 approved for hazardous locations and is intrinsically safe. IECEx certification is a guarantee of quality. Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) can be continuously measured using the TVOC, which is a fixed photoionization detector (PID) (VOCs). A single instrument may correctly measure over three different detection ranges. Zone 2 hazardous locations can be safely used with a three-wire TVOC system that has been approved by ATEX. In Zone 1 hazardous environments, with safety barriers, ATEX and IECEx certifications allow TVOC to be employed. IP65

For usage in hazardous environments, the Ion Science TVOC is certified ATEX Zone 2 and is the first intrinsically safe fixed VOC monitor. IECEx certification is a guarantee of quality. Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) can be continuously measured using the TVOC, which is a fixed photoionization detector (PID) (VOCs). From a single device, TVOC can precisely measure over three distinct detection ranges.
They incorporate a 1-minute default timer for a changeable duty cycle. It's adjustable from 5 seconds to 5 minutes. TVOC employs a diffusive sampling technique, which reduces the need for lamp cleaning and servicing, compared to pumping systems. Using TVOC's 4-20 mA analog output, a DCS system can be used to monitor and manage VOC levels in the workplace.
TVOC systems can be utilized in Zone 2 hazardous areas without safety barriers if they have ATEX permits. In Zone 1 hazardous environments, with safety barriers, ATEX and IECEx certifications allow TVOC to be employed. TVOC does not require a permit for hot work, and the PID sensor can be accessed and replaced in seconds, making installation, service, and calibration straightforward.
