An inexpensive, low-cost, catalytic (pellistor) type flammable gas sensor, SI 100D, is available. When used in conjunction with the industry standard 4-20mA signal, it may be used with numerous indicators and panels to monitor the concentration of LEL in the air.
Ex d IIB T4-rated casing makes it acceptable for usage in hazardous areas, making it straightforward to install.
