Product Overview
For use in manufacturing and process industries where volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are common, the TVOC 2 is an effective fixed PID detector with three selectable detection ranges (ppm/ppm, ppm/ppm, ppm/ppm). A Distributed Control System (DCS) may easily include TVOC 2 since it has a 4-20 mA analog output, which allows it to deliver alerts and control over excessive VOC levels in the working environment.
A 3 wire TVOC system may be used in Zone 2 hazardous locations without safety barriers, whereas a TVOC 2 can be utilized in Zone 1 hazardous areas with safety barriers thanks to the instrument's ATEX and IECEx certifications. The TVOC 2 requires no hot work permit and the PID sensor can be replaced in a matter of seconds, making it a breeze to maintain and calibrate.
