Handheld mobile computer that is intrinsically safe Janam XM5 – Windows Embedded Handheld 6.5 is certified for use in hazardous environments Class I Division II. Powered by Microsoft Windows Embedded Handheld 6.5 with an AM3715 ARM Cortex-A8 CPU working at 1GHz. Additionally, it is available with a QWERTY or numeric keypad. It boasts an IP65 rating, 4G connectivity through WWAN, and Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, a 3.5-inch bright VGA TFT display, a 1D/2D imager, or a 1D laser scanner, a 5.0-megapixel focused camera, Bluetooth, and a smart battery.

The XM5 mobile computer redefines productivity and is rugged enough to withstand the demands of field use. It combines the latest technological breakthroughs in mobile devices with a sleek and durable design to provide commercial and government customers with the power and flexibility they require.
The XM5's strong features, including 4G-ready WWAN and 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi communications, ensure that mobile workers can access voice and data at any time and from any location. Additionally, the device contains a 1D/2D imager or a 1D laser scanner, as well as integrated RFID and NFC reading capabilities, front and back-facing cameras, Bluetooth, and intelligent battery power management. The XM5 mobile computer is resistant to repeated 5' fall to concrete and is protected to IP65 standards. A basic two-year warranty covers clients at no additional cost.
