Intrinsically Safe Pointing Device iKey HP-DT-NI w/ Force Sensing Resistor Desktop Mouse combines the functionality of a mouse and the flexibility of a joystick in one convenient, small-footprint package. A sturdy stainless steel case is also included. Pressure-sensitive feedback is provided for positive motion control without requiring vigorous movement. The HP-DT-NI Low-profile design contains no protruding parts that might break, and no moving elements to collect dust. With its completely sealed, NEMA 4X design, the iKey FSR can withstand spills, wash downs, contaminants, and the impacts of an industrial environment.

For use in hazardous locations, the pointing device must be used in conjunction with the iKey PS2-IS-BARRIER.

Intrinsically Safe Barrier iKey PS2-IS-BARRIER is approved for use in Class I, II, III, Division 1 hazardous areas. PS2-IS-Barrier isolation is provided between the host PC and the keyboard or pointing device, as well as between the signal and power supply connections on the hazardous location side. Interface connections are made by industry-standard connectors. In particular, the connection from the PC uses a mini-DIN 6 pin socket, while the connection to the keyboard or PS/2 device in the hazardous location uses a mini-DIN 7 pin socket. Shop Now!
