Intrinsically Safe NICOR-XPL1A040U50GR Proteus 40-Watt LED Linear Light is intended for use in environments prone to dampness, filth, corrosion, and vibration. Proteus fixtures are available in Class 1 Division 1 in 40W with a two-foot length for use in situations deemed hazardous by the presence of combustible vapors or gases as specified by the NEC. The Proteus Series is perfect for retrofitting existing HPS/MH & FL systems since it provides increased efficacy, cheaper maintenance costs, and shorter payback periods.
