The RPS-409A-IS2 is an intrinsically safe ultrasonic sensor for use in hazardous area environments worldwide. When installed with an approved intrinsic safety barrier, the sensor can be used in hazardous gas and dust areas classified as Zone 0, 1, 2, 20, 21, or 22, and Class I, II, or III. The sensor is fully sealed with an IP67 rating for reliable operation in harsh industrial environments like mining and petroleum.
