The Eaton Crouse-Hinds EYS3 is a robust conduit sealing fitting engineered for use in hazardous and classified locations. It serves a vital safety function by restricting the passage of gases, vapors, or flames from one portion of an electrical installation to another, effectively limiting explosions to the sealed-off enclosure and preventing “pressure piling” in conduit systems.
Designed for vertical-only installation, the EYS3 features a 1″ trade size with female hubs and a Group B rating for specialized hazardous environments. Its Feraloy iron alloy or ductile iron body construction ensures long-term durability in the field, while large openings with threaded closures provide easy access for creating the necessary dams during installation.
