Safe Heating and Cooling Equipment Class I Division I and Class I Division II certifications are available for Kooltronic HL58LV for usage in hazardous environments. With NEMA 4/4x certification. The Kooltronic Hazardous Location Series Air Conditioners are built to withstand the rigors of hazardous locations because of their industrial-grade construction and UL Listing.

An American patent has been awarded to HL58LV, according to the US Patent & Trademark Office (U.S. Patent No. 9,157,670 B2). A significant step forward in terms of both safety and dependability has been achieved by enclosing all electrical components in a pressurized chamber. To cut down on expenses, this design makes advantage of the electrical enclosure’s existing purge system and makes general-purpose components available.

HL58LV offers capacities up to 18,000 BTU/H in single and 3-phase power. Many features such as a programmable thermostat, compressor short cycling protector, and Hi/Lo temperature alarm are standard. These units are offered at a lower cost easily maintained when compared to traditionally designed hazardous locations. These stainless steel units are used where hazardous gases may be present and are also suitable for corrosive.
