Ion Science Tiger Intrinsically Safe Fire Investigation Kit is ATEX Zone 0 and IECEx approved. The ION Science Fire Investigation Kit with Tiger or Tiger LT photoionization detector (PID) has been built specifically to offer you all the equipment necessary for a practical, easy-to-use solution for detecting volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in Fire and Arson Investigation applications. For arson investigations, the Tiger and Tiger LT PIDs are excellent. They feature a durable design, are ready to use in seconds, and are suitable for use while wearing gloves.

In order to provide you with a straightforward, easy-to-use solution for the detection of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in Fire and Arson Investigation applications, ION Science has developed the Fire Investigation Kit with Tiger or Tiger LT photoionization detector (PID).
It is an element of the fire investigation in cases of suspected arson to prove that there was no other source of the fire. Hydrocarbon chemicals such as petrol, alkanes, and cycloalkanes can be detected with the Fire Investigation Kit. It is the job of fire investigators to look for every form of accelerant in the event of a fire, from grill lighters and lighter fuel to liquid glue and cleaning solvents.
