It withstands large outdoor temperature differences, high humidity, exposure to seawater and dust, corrosive atmospheres, explosive gases and particles, and mechanical wear and tear, making it ideal for emergency use. The robust handset, made from molded Bulk Molding Compound, endures arduous conditions and features an armored cord for extra resistance to vandalism and heavy industrial use.

The Standard VoIP/SIP Explosion-proof & Weatherproof Telephone features an aluminum alloy die-casting body and a vandal-resistant handset and cord. It includes a full keypad and an inductive coupler for the hard of hearing. Designed for wall mounting, it allows for simple installation. The phone is line-powered for analogue use and supports Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE) for SIP-VoIP. It complies with Ex eb ib [ib Gb] mb IIC T6/T5 Gb, Ex ib [ib Db] tb IIIC T80℃/T95℃ Db standards and is suitable for Zones 1, 2, and 22. The telephone offers weatherproof protection to IP66-IP67 and meets IECEx, ATEX, CE, FCC, and RoHs compliance standards.
