What is the return policy?
Please contact us for information regarding any product warranty. Due to the sensitive nature and certified products, we carry we do not accept refunds unless covered under manufactures warranty, all sales are final. It is your responsibility to ensure the model you are selecting matches your exact requirements. Each manufacturer has its own warranty policy. Intrinsically Safes Store will assist customers with their warranty. Most manufacturers offer an additional warranty period which covers against merchandise defects. To determine warranty requirements for a specific item, please contact us for assistance. Please note warranty processing may take 4-8 weeks and will be subject to the individual manufacturer’s policies and discretion. Manufacturer warranties do not cover defects determined to be caused by normal wear or due to customer negligence. Please do not attempt to send any returned goods back to us. We do not accept returns. We will not be held responsible for any goods shipped to us unless specifically requested.

Please let us know ASAP if any goods arrive damaged. Please keep all original shipping containers and take pictures if possible. Damaged goods claims are handled through the shipping carrier (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.). We will assist our customers in these claims. We only ask that customers be patient as sometimes this process can take longer than any of us would like!

Shipments to the Contiguous 48 US States

We understand that when you make an order, you want your product as quickly as possible and we will do our best to make that happen! Most of the items we sell will ship quickly and be at your door fast. We work closely with our vendors in order to have the product shipped directly to you from their warehouse if that means you will get the product faster.
The earlier in the day the order is placed, the faster it will ship.
While we will do our best to ship from the distribution center closest to you, naturally not all items will always be in stock in every location at all times! In some cases we will split the order and ship each package out to you individually and in other cases we may need to consolidate the items in one location to ship out as one package. We utilize our best judgment in an attempt to get the products to you as quickly as possible. If you select an expedited shipping method, please note that this will not reduce the lead-time before the order is shipped!
If available a shipping confirmation email including carrier-specific tracking information will typically be sent within 24 hours of an item shipping. For example, if you place an order Monday night and it ships out Tuesday morning, you will receive your tracking information either Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning. Most orders will be shipped UPS, however, we do utilize USPS, FedEx, and OnTrac as well.
We do our best to offer free shipping to your location, if we can not offer free shipping you will see the shipping price clearly in your shopping cart prior to order.
Shipping changes after the order is shipped, such as intercepts, address change, and will call pick-up may be subject to a $50 Service fee per shipment (this is simply passing along the fee billed to us by the carrier to make the change when in-transit and our time hunting down teams, people moving around, etc).
International Shipping Terms & Conditions
- Prices are shown in US dollars. For conversion, we recommend using a Currency Converter.
- International Shipping may incur extra shipping and packaging costs that are not shown online. If you would like to confirm please contact us anytime. Any required charges will be confirmed by you prior to charging your account or shipping the product
- Any import duties, taxes or brokerage fees due at the time of delivery are the sole responsibility of the receiving customer. Packing slips for International Shipments cannot be marked as a “gift” or with altered prices.
- International Orders may require 3-5 business days or more of additional processing time prior to shipment as we may need to consolidate items to one location for shipment.
- When “Fast International Shipping” method is selected, orders will be shipped by a carrier of our choice (USPS, DHL, or UPS). The typical transit time will be 3-5 business days.
- Some brands may not be shipped to certain destinations due to manufacturer restrictions. If you are visiting the US we can ship any product to your hotel or any UPS store for pickup.
Returns / Exchanges
- The customer is responsible for all back and forth shipping and brokerage charges all orders. Items can not be refunded or returned because of importing or shipping challenges. All sales are final.
- International shipments should be marked as a “Merchandise Return” with a carrier that does not levy brokerage fees. The customer is responsible for any applicable brokerage or customs charges.
- Any items shipped COD or having additional brokerage fees that are charged to Intrinsically Safe Store upon delivery will be rejected.
- Unless expressed on the product page we do not cater for the different International power, voltage, charging or any other requirements. We do our best to provide the product data sheet and answer any questions prior to purchasing.
- All our standard terms are subject to international orders as well.
For warranty claims please contact us via chat. While Intrinsically Safe Store will do our best to assist international customers with warranty claims, items may need to be shipped to the U.S. for inspection or repair. The customer will be responsible for these additional back and forth shipping charges. We do not take responsibility for manufactures limitation of warranty due to the customers location.
Oversize items are available and we do our best to work with our customer’s unique needs. Please contact us anytime to get what you need, how you want it and when you need it.
Typically packages will be left at your door and do not require a signature. Sometimes we will ship an item vendor direct and those vendors may require a signature on their shipments. If you absolutely need one way or the other, please contact Customer Service before placing your order.
Intrinsically Safe Store does not typically take back orders, however, items in which a backorder or pre-order is available will be clearly identified.
Do I have to pay sales tax?
You only have to pay sales tax if you are located in states or areas that require sales tax.
