ZSB-409A Intrinsically Safe Zener Safety Barrier
The ZSB-409A Intrinsically Safe Zener Safety Barrier is a compact, multi-channel safety interface designed to enable the safe connection of intrinsically safe field devices to non-intrinsically safe control equipment. Engineered for hazardous and explosive environments, this barrier is specifically designed for use with Migatron intrinsically safe ultrasonic sensors, including the RPS-409A-IS, RPS-409A-IS2, and RPS-409A-IS3 series.
When installed in accordance with the control drawing and used with proper grounding, the ZSB-409A provides intrinsic safety protection for hazardous gas and dust environments classified as Zone 0, 1, 2, 20, 21, or 22 under ATEX and IECEx standards, as well as Class I, II, or III hazardous locations under UL and cUL requirements. Its compact DIN-rail-mounted design allows for easy integration inside control panels and safe-area enclosures.
