The WAROM BXT-e-IV is a high-grade “Increased Safety” (Ex e) empty enclosure designed to protect electrical installations in explosive gas and dust environments. Built specifically for hazardous locations such as Zone 1, 2, 21, and 22, it is a critical safety component for oil, gas, and chemical processing facilities. Unlike flameproof variants, the BXT-e series focuses on preventing the occurrence of sparks and high temperatures, making it a lightweight yet highly reliable solution for Division 2 areas.
Manufactured from low-pressure cast copper-free aluminum alloy, the BXT-e-IV offers superior corrosion resistance in salty or chemically aggressive environments. Its compact 250x250mm footprint and 128mm depth make it versatile for a range of field applications. The enclosure is pre-fitted with stainless steel fasteners and internal/external earthing points to ensure long-term operational integrity and safety compliance.
