The Intrinsically Safe Alarm Box (IS-AB) features a durable PVC enclosure certified to IP65 and NEMA 4X standards, making it suitable for outdoor use and corrosive conditions. It operates in a temperature range from -40ºC to +60ºC.

Battery:

• The device is equipped with a high-capacity lithium battery with an impressive lifespan of 20 years on the shelf.
• Intelligent software is employed to conserve battery life. In the event of an alarm persisting for longer than 60 minutes, the IS-AB goes into a lowered output mode with only a 20% duty cycle. This allows the battery to last for almost a month under continuous alarm conditions.
• The alarm box includes a low battery signal, providing a warning when it's time to replace the battery.
• The battery replacement process is simple, involving plugging in a replacement, and it can be done in a hazardous location, ensuring ease of maintenance.
