The UT5000 Intrinsically Safe thickness gauge with CorDEX CONNECT™ is used to determine the metal thickness of pipelines and fixed equipment in hazardous places for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and Predictive Maintenance (Pdm).
The UT5000 is a next-generation thickness gauge that incorporates a number of established technologies: CorDEX CONNECT™ utilizes RFID and software to associate measurements with their location and then organizes the data, providing the engineer with a perspective of the pipeline at any particular spot.
The unique corrosion mode aids in identifying thinning areas; MultiECHO™ technology increases accuracy on uneven surfaces, and onboard memory retains up to 1000 measurements.
