The Bartec Handheld Scanner Supply modules BCS3600ex-IS play a crucial role in providing an intrinsically safe power source (barrier) for hand-held scanners in environments where explosive atmospheres may be present. These modules include a safety barrier (evaluation barrier) designed to ensure the safe transmission of data lines within such hazardous conditions.

Distinguished by its seamless connectivity, the supply modules enable a direct link of data lines from hazardous areas to non-Ex systems, like PCs or PLCs, without the need for extra barriers or safety features.  This adjustable functionality simplifies the retrofitting and modification of existing older systems to effectively accommodate the hand-held scanners.
