Features and Operating secrets

Cosa Xentaur Quick and precise Dew point Meter

  • Portable Measurements
  • Class I Division I
  • Special Long Life Battery
  • HTF Sensor Technology
  • Extremely Fast Response
  • Single Point Calibration
  • Six Different Engineering Units

The Cosa Xentaur dewpoint meter features an aluminum oxide sensor that adsorbs much faster than it desorbs water molecules. As a result, the sensor is dry at the beginning of measurement and therefore does not affect the measurement. The sensor slides directly from dry storage into the sample cell without ever coming in contact with ambient air. Once the measurement is completed, the sensor slides back into dry storage where it is dried down for the next sample.

The cell, sensor, and piston are made of 316 stainless steel and are polished to assure quick equilibrium with the sample. PTFE seals protect the cell from the intrusion of wet air or gas.

The sample cell can be used to measure gas flows of up to 20 liters per minute. The flow rate has no effect on the measurement. The pressure in the sample cell is near atmospheric, so pressure differences from the surrounding area are insignificant. The instrument’s computer provides a readout for the specific sample at both the sensor pressure and any line pressure that the user enters.
